My Favourite moment

Ellie’s frustrated and gave out a big sigh signifying that there’s no time for mourning and she has to move on with Joel, even though Tess died by sacrificing herself.

My thoughts
The hour-long episode was slow for me but I get the purpose was intentional to build tension and relationship between the trio as they chose which path to meet the other Firefly groups.
I am much impressed that Ellie was not annoying but had her views and thoughts about how to navigate the zombie-apocalyptic world. She may be inexperienced with killing, but she quickly understands social tension. Ellie is way way mature than most teenagers written by other zombie genre writers, except Clementine from the Walking Dead Game series. Though I didn’t play the game, I felt their relationship was realistic, because none of them is helpless and each knows how to react or respond to the world they’re in.
Curious about how Joel will start trusting Ellie more by keeping his promise to Tess. Let’s see it in Episode 3.
